Learn MoreAt the Day Surgery Center, we meet the growing demand for advanced reconstructive and microsurgical procedures, including breast reconstruction, on an outpatient basis. This allows our surgeons to perform a greater variety of procedures, including breast biopsy, lumpectomy and mastectomy, hernia procedures, cochlear implants, thyroid surgery, sinus surgery, and plastic reconstructive surgery. Our emphasis is on minimally invasive surgery that ensures the safety and comfort of all our patients.
The 30,000-square-foot Day Surgery Center features 10 operating rooms and 30 recovery beds. State-of-the-art data ports, advanced video capabilities, and a variety of standard mounted equipment give surgeons direct access to CT scans, MRIs, and X-rays during your procedure.
Our physicians are experts in advanced surgical and medical techniques, including robotic surgery and minimally invasive procedures, such as laparoscopy. Our nursing staff has expertise in critical care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, emergency medicine, and other specialized areas of nursing. The combined level of competency and sensitivity among these team members enables them to provide the level of care and expertise that patients deserve.
Our anesthesiologists realize that even minor procedures can be stressful, both physically and mentally. These specialists guide you through a safe recovery and can help with pain management in the days and weeks following a procedure.
The ambulatory post-anesthesia care unit, also known as the PACU, provides care for patients before and after surgery. The nursing staff helps patients and their families with decision making, patient education, and coordination of services. Our nurses also promote patient safety.
