As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, some large companies and local governments across the United States are requiring people to be vaccinated. Some people claim that medical conditions make them exempt from vaccine mandates, although there are no medical reasons that prevent people from receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.
In some cases, people with cancer who receive a vaccine might not mount an effective immune response, says , professor in the and director of 抖阴短视频 Health鈥檚 Perlmutter Cancer Center.
鈥淲e strongly recommend that all of our cancer patients get the vaccine, although some patients, particularly those with blood cancers, might not develop a strong immune response to two doses of the vaccine and could benefit from a third dose,鈥 Dr. Neel says.
