Some people claim that medical conditions make them exempt from vaccine mandates, although there are no medical reasons that prevent people from receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.

鈥淲e strongly recommend that all of our cancer patients get the vaccine, although some patients, particularly those with blood cancers, might not develop a strong immune response to two doses of the vaccine and could benefit from a third dose,鈥 Dr. Neel says.
