Symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) tend to become more prominent when additional demands are placed on a person鈥檚 time, attention, and organizational skills. For adults, this may mean that symptoms ramp up after a promotion or a child鈥檚 birth. People with ADHD may have trouble engaging in tasks, problems with organization, poor performance in school or work, and poor impulse control.
