I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. I came to medicine after starting my career initially in the arts in New York City in modern dance publicity and in theater management. I am therefore always delighted to hear when one of my patients is involved in the arts.

I can imagine no career more rewarding than being a physician. I feel it is a great privilege to be a doctor, taking care of patients with complex skin conditions, advancing knowledge, and collaborating with colleagues for the betterment of the people I treat. My decision to pursue medicine was highly influenced by being raised in a family of doctors—my grandfather, father, and uncle are doctors.

I am double board-certified, in internal medicine and dermatology. At ��������Ƶ my goal is to provide the highest level of care and work closely with my colleagues across the healthcare system. I focus on treating people who have sarcoidosis and other complex medical conditions that require interdisciplinary care. Together we aim to provide holistic care of people with sarcoidosis, to better understand this disease, and to employ the most updated therapies for the benefit of patients.
